A system-agnostic adventure for tabletop roleplaying games, wherein the player characters stop for the night in a roadside mining town, only to get pulled into a decades-old tragedy that still haunts the place. Can they escape this living nightmare, or will they be trapped forever in the Dollhouse?
Based on a session originally run by Aya Golender using the Dungeons & Dragons 5th Edition rules, this ghost story mixes goofs and ghouls in equal measure, with plenty of roadside tourist trap fun I added myself (from the local cryptid museum to a goat lawn mowing service). The adventure and its clues are presented so they can be set in different genres or time periods with relative ease, as well as played through using a gaming group's system of choice (such as Savage Worlds or Call of Cthulhu).
Most of the interior art, as well as the cover to the right were made by Aya Golender. I created the town map for Chroma Canyon, as seen below.
