An expansion for the official Dungeons & Dragons 5th Edition adventure, Baldur's Gate: Descent into Avernus, presents a new route players can take to reach the conclusion of the campaign.
Despite the fact players can meet the demon lord Kostchtchie during the course of the adventure and he plays a rather large role in the backstory, very little is done with him. This supplement sought to rectify this by utilizing backstory elements from D&D's history to add fun new options to explore. These include being able to use the chicken-legged Dancing Hut of Baba Yaga as a vehicle; finding the soul jar of the deathless Kostchtchie in order to control him; and even going head-to-head with the infamous witch-queen Iggwilv as she pursues schemes of her own.
